Color Subtraction

This page was created out of a light-hearted discussion with a friend: What if you subtracted the hex values as numbers for two colors? I chose to subtract the hex values, then take the positive remainder mod 2^24. So basically, negatives wrap around.

Is this how computers tell how "different" colors are? No.

Is this meant to be educational? No.

Is this in any way useful? No.

So... why do this? Cause.
